If you’re reading this on the internet some where, like a blog, or a group on facebook, it’s not too late! You can still edit the contents of this book.
If you have this in your hands and you’re reading it, let me explain.
The pages in this book have been a collaborated effort of thousands.
That’s right through the ability of collaborated effort though, blogs, and groups on facebook.
What is a facebook, or a group? Well if you’ve been living in a cave, or with our electricity, let me explain, facebook is an online community or a website where millions of people from all over the world connect. They get to Poke each other, and write one each others walls. You can meet wonderful people all over the world, which I have on facebook. A Group is an online meeting room created by users of facebook.
So if you’re a user on facebook and you’re reading this book, there is a pretty good chance that you’ve seen the group, “Women Really Do Run The World.” If you haven’t seen the group, you are now invited to join it.
Oh yes, if we are not already Friends, you can invite me to be your Friend.
You can edit this page or any other pages on the book; you can make commits, or start topics. Topics on facebook are threads of communications.
A member of facebook can start a topic, or commit on one. If the topic is of great interest, or controversial there will be many commits on it, and stay at the top of the list for w while. What I mean by staying at the top, is that like the top twenties of music change every week, facebook groups have the top Three Topics only they change instantaneously. Every time a user makes a commit, or a new topic is started.
Once again, if you’re reading this on a blog or on the facebook group, go ahead and make a commit. Is it too late to make a commit, no, I was just kidding. Even if your reading this as a book you can still commit by going to the facebook group, or looking up the blog, and leave your thoughts of criticism, thoughts of joy, or thoughts of madness, because you where tricked into buying this book because you were expecting something cooler than what it is.

This is where I’d love to say thank you to all that have supported my craziness through out the years.
Most of all, thank you mom for the hours of listening, understanding, and unconditional love.
Thank you Karen, (my wife) for supporting me, even for that year I got lost in the woods.
You never gave up on me.
Thank you to all the thousands that I’ve encountered though out my life for the learning that you gave me.
Thank you for all the thousands I’ve meet on facebook.

Forward
As I sit here at Starbucks enjoying my favorite drink, I’m thinking to myself, “wow I need to get going on this project”, the project of writing this. Yes, I too have a tendency to procrastinate. If you know a creative type you’ll understand. I’m really not procrastinating, I’m busy creating.
Right away I need to tell you that this is not going to be your typical book. First you’ll notice, I’m not the best at spelling or typing, so if your offended by misspelled words, or improper English. Stop, now before your brain starts to hurt. If misspelled words don’t bother you, read on and enjoy.
Yes I am a rebel, every one told me in order to write a book, I needed to create an outline, find a publisher, then the publisher will give you the title of the book, to optimize the sales of the book, well that’s not me.
To help you understand who I am, let me give you a thought. You know that saying, “let’s try thinking out side of the box”? Well I can honestly say I never fond the box. Yep that’s me not marching to a different bet, because I never wanted to march, I always wanted to Dance!
Here we go; this is going to be a book of collaborated knowledge.
That knowledge has been provided by great minds from all over the world.
Oh yes, another thing you should know about me going into our relation, I love to read, so I will be quoting a lot of books. There is a long list of books that developed the inspiration for this book, to name a few: Re-imagine by Tom Peters, Wisdom of the Crowds, by James Surowiecki, Wikinomics by Dan Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams, The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman, The Success Principle by Jack Canfield, Cracking the Millionaire Code by Mark Victor Hanson, and A Whole New Mind by Daniel H. Pink to name a few.
The Idea of this book was has been bouncing around in my head, every since I heard Tom Peters say in his book Re-imagine, “85% of all books are bought by women.” Hello did you hear that?
Than it hit me, not the contents of the book but the title of the book, “Women Really Do Run The World”, and oh my gosh, every time I mention the title to someone it always brings a laugh, smile, joke, or some sort of noises. So I thought I should make a write a book around the title, It sure sounded like fun to me. I started to writing the book, and keep running into the, what to write syndrome. After not letting go of the idea, three years later, I decided to us a collaborated effort. If you don’t understand the power of today’s collaboration that is going on I highly recommend you run out and buy this book, Wikinomics by Dan Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams.
