Forward

As I sit here at Starbucks enjoying my favorite drink, I’m thinking to myself, “wow I need to get going on this project”, the project of writing this. Yes, I too have a tendency to procrastinate. If you know a creative type you’ll understand. I’m really not procrastinating, I’m busy creating.
Right away I need to tell you that this is not going to be your typical book. First you’ll notice, I’m not the best at spelling or typing, so if your offended by misspelled words, or improper English. Stop, now before your brain starts to hurt. If misspelled words don’t bother you, read on and enjoy.

Yes I am a rebel, every one told me in order to write a book, I needed to create an outline, find a publisher, then the publisher will give you the title of the book, to optimize the sales of the book, well that’s not me.

To help you understand who I am, let me give you a thought. You know that saying, “let’s try thinking out side of the box”? Well I can honestly say I never fond the box. Yep that’s me not marching to a different bet, because I never wanted to march, I always wanted to Dance!

Here we go; this is going to be a book of collaborated knowledge.
That knowledge has been provided by great minds from all over the world.
Oh yes, another thing you should know about me going into our relation, I love to read, so I will be quoting a lot of books. There is a long list of books that developed the inspiration for this book, to name a few: Re-imagine by Tom Peters, Wisdom of the Crowds, by James Surowiecki, Wikinomics by Dan Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams, The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman, The Success Principle by Jack Canfield, Cracking the Millionaire Code by Mark Victor Hanson, and A Whole New Mind by Daniel H. Pink to name a few.

The Idea of this book was has been bouncing around in my head, every since I heard Tom Peters say in his book Re-imagine, “85% of all books are bought by women.” Hello did you hear that?

Than it hit me, not the contents of the book but the title of the book, “Women Really Do Run The World”, and oh my gosh, every time I mention the title to someone it always brings a laugh, smile, joke, or some sort of noises. So I thought I should make a write a book around the title, It sure sounded like fun to me. I started to writing the book, and keep running into the, what to write syndrome. After not letting go of the idea, three years later, I decided to us a collaborated effort. If you don’t understand the power of today’s collaboration that is going on I highly recommend you run out and buy this book, Wikinomics by Dan Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams.

If you’re reading this before publication, you can still participate in development of this book at:
